HiI! So, I've gotten Botox for chronic migraines for years, but my new injector does fewer injections in the forehead (as per her guidelines) : one between the nose, two (symmmetrical) on the brow, and two or four (?) on the absolute top of my forehead where my hairline begins. I'm accustomed to more. Will having such high and few injections mean that my forehead creases will re-emerge? I don't want to suddenly look much older!

Answer: Botox for migraines Yes, you may now develop wrinkles in the mid and lower forehead since you are no longer injecting Botox in these areas. Your new injector is following the insurance guidelines for Botox Migraine. Most Botox migraine injectors do not know anything about Botox for cosmetics. The Botox Migraine protocol is for 31 sties to be injected with 5 units each for a total of 155 units. Botox comes in a 200 unit vial. Therefore there are 45 units left that can be injected anywhere the injector deems necessary. Many injectors simply throw these 45 units away as they are uncomfortable injecting it in other areas that can also help with headaches. If you develop wrinkles in the mid and lower forehead, simply ask her to inject a little lower below the hairline. If she injects too low, she will drop your brow.
