Tummy Tuck vs Lipo 360 with Renuvion? (Photo)

Question

I am 39 and 5'9" 200 lbs. I was going to do a TT w/Lipo & Renuvion but would rather do Lipo/Renuvion only. My dr said he is worried about loose skin & only wants to do our original plan. I do not "need" a perfect flat tummy, I really want to remove bra roll, and tone stomach as best as I can/flanks. My skin isnt flabby or hanging - its a bulge I want gone. Id like professional advice if you agree or not and why.

Hello, how are you, I'm Dr. Salvador Garcia, evaluating your photos, our recommendation is to perform extended Tummy Tuck and 360 lipo, and I do recommend renuvion J plasma to help sagging skin, and greater skin tension, but in your abdomen it´s necessary to remove the excess skin that you have, for a better result and for you to be happy, because with pure lipo and j plasma there would still be excess skin and the abdomen would not be flat

Thank you for your question and photos.  The partially clothed photos do cover up your back. Regarding the abdomen, you do have two rolls, the visible overhang and a covered pubic roll and sag. There are partially visible back rolls. Lipo 360 means liposuction circumferentially of the whole body.  As a Total Definer surgeon, I believe your best outcome would be with a full tummy tuck via a low pubic bone level incision AND liposuction 360 degrees. I use the Renuvion, but it is not a good option in your case. See a board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

Liposuction 360 can done however, your skin will definitely hang afterwards. The tummy tuck is done to resect skin and liposuction only removes fat and does not remove excess hanging skin. You may want to do the liposuction 360 first and wait to see how your skin responds and then determine if you want a tummy tuck.

You have some skin overhang and this can only be fixed with a tummy tuck.  Any liposuction procedure, even with Renuvion, will leave you with excess skin, an overhang, and an inferior result.

No, Renuvion would do nothing for you. You have circumferential skin excess, that can only be remedied with fat reduction and skin excision. Nothing else will do. 360 liposuction and a lower body lift.
