Hello. My bmi is 29 and I'm apprehensive to do both lipo 360 and arms. My PS says he is confident he can do both at same time (6ml). Is this safe and realistic? My arms bother me just as bad so I feel they are going to max out before getting to my arms and leaving me wishing more could have been removed. I'm also afraid of how much more painful the recovery will be including a 360 lipo of my arms? This is my first lipo treatment. I opted out of a TT. Thanks for any input!
Answer: Liposuction It is important to limit the total volume liposuction aspirate to less than 5 liters in a single setting. In my opinion you could do liposuction 360 and your arms and still be below that limit.

Answer: Tummy Tuck better results Hello, how are you, I'm Dr. Salvador Garcia, evaluating your photos, our recommendation is to perform extended Tummy Tuck o Lipectomy and 360 lipo, and I do recommend renuvion J plasma to help sagging skin, and greater skin tension, but in your abdomen, if it is necessary to remove the excess skin that you have, for a better result and for you to be happy, because with pure lipo and j plasma there would still be excess skin and the abdomen would not be flat

Answer: You need more information You should absolutely NOT have liposuction of your abdomen unless you also proceed with an abdominoplasty simultaneously. First, you would have a very unaesthetic result on your abdomen due to significant skin excess. Your skin will not shrink or lay flat. It will have rolls and irregularities that can only be remedied with a tummy tuck, but unfortunately that situation would be much more difficult and more risky. The tissue of your abdomen after healing from liposuction will be scarred and difficult to smooth due to the tethering effect of scar tissue, which would require surgical scar release, leading to more injury to blood vessels that are necessary for circulation through that tissue. This would significantly increase your risk of poor wound healing and even tissue necrosis. You didn't elaborate why you passed on a tummy tuck, whether it was cosmetic (scar incision) or simply (unfounded) fear of the procedure itself, but I strongly urge you to either get the tummy tuck with the liposuction or don't do anything with your torso, regardless of how many liters of fat are vacuumed. You will be regretful.

Answer: Sometimes you just need 2 procedures a day apart to get the job done right. I would recommend 2 liposuction procedures to be able to be very thorough and make a noticeable improvement safely under local. Some docs will take a little out of everywhere and not make much of a difference in any area. You want it done right so you will need 2 procedures but they can be done just a day apart so you recover all at once and are back to work in 2 days. Upper/lower tummy and sides in 1 procedure and midback, armpits and arms in another. Cost for quality work is roughly $10,000 per procedure. Be sure to get it done under local with a little iv sedation for complete comfort and safety and have Morpheus and Bodytite done with the lipo to make sure the skin tightens up nicely.

Answer: Liposuction Since your arms are a great concern, I would recommend beginning with liposuction of the arms. At the same time, you can get liposuction of the back and flanks. I would not liposuct the anterior abdominal wall in order to conserve volume. The safe amount is usually 5 liters. In the future, you will most likely need a tummy tuck, if you liposuct the anterior abdominal wall. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
