Lipo or tummy tuck? I am 35 years old and I have great skin elasticity

Hey, i have a question, id like to get lipo 360 done but i have diastasis recti i went to a surgeon but he recommends me to have a tummy tuck but i don't want a tummy tuck, but my surgeon tells me that i wont like the results if i don't get a tummy tuck. I have seen people with bigger bellys than me and they had great results with only lipo. I am 35 years old and i have great skin elasticity

Hello, how are you, I'm Dr. Salvador Garcia, we must always evaluate each case, and personalize it, if you have diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles, the treatment is Plication of the rectus abdominis muscles or internal corset, and we must assess whether you are a candidate to perform it by laparoscopy or if you have excess skin in Your lower abdomen is preferable to open, perform muscle repair and remove excess skin.

Liposuction only removes fat. A tummy tuck excises fat and skin. The difference is your skin elasticity. If you have extra skin then that will hang and you will be dissatisfied. Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs.

if you have rectus diastasis then a tummy tuck would give you a much better result.  Liposuction does eliminate fat but not skin or muscle repair.
