29 age female, I have TMJ issues and my massester muscles have become enlarged over time. I feel my chin has also lost volume along with my cheekbones. What non- invasive procedures can I do to create a more defined jawline.

Botox can be used to weaken the masseter muscle, thus making it smaller and creating a more defined jawline.

Kybella can melt the fat directly under the jawline to help define the underlying mandible.

Another option is ultrasound therapy, which can help to reduce muscle mass in the masseter muscles.

One option is dermal fillers, which can be used to add volume to the chin and cheekbones, creating a more defined jawline.

Your in luck. A few simple in-office treatments can quickly and easily address the issues of concern here. First. enlarged masseters, a fairly common condition seen often in patients of Asian extraction, can be quite readily treated with Botox injections. Appropriate robust HA fillers can be used to recontour the cheeks and the chin--for cheeks to create a more feminine, heart-shaped face and for the chin in order to improve its projection in the profile view and overall shape in the front-face view. The results of these  kinds of nonsurgical interventions are typically immediate and characteristically elicit a "Wow!" reaction. Hi and thank you for your question! There are many different procedures to define the jawline more. To try to reduce the size of your masseters, you can start with some botox. We would have to evaluate your muscle strength in person to see how many units you would need per side. Botox can cause facial slimming for certain patients that have large masseter muscles. The next option could be dermal fillers. We would have to see your side profile to see how many syringes and the types of fillers needed, but typically we would use Juvederm Volux for jawline definition and chin projection. Lastly, We would have to evaluate the neck area further to see if you would be a candidate for a fat reduction procedure such as coolmin or kybella.
