Is it possible to have a septorhinoplasty done after turbinate reduction?

An ENT recommended turbinate reduction to alleviate some of my breathing issues. Would this prevent me from having a septorhinoplasty in the future? It seems recommended to have septoplasty and rhinoplasty together to prevent damaging the respective results. I'm not sure if this is the case for turbinate reduction.

In allergic periods, your turbinate organ may grow back and cause the same problems. If there is a deviation from the septum, the real solution would be to perform septoplasty and turbinate reduction together.

You can have the turbinate surgery done. It will not affect septorhinoplasty surgery in the future.

In order to correct both functional (obstruction) and aesthetic aspect of nose surgery, we usually perform all these procedures in the same time. There is no reason to have these procedures performed separately. Second opinion consulation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, is recommended. Good luck.

Having a turbinate reduction will not prevent you from having a septorhinpolasty in the future.  The nasal airway is evaluated during the evaluation for surgery, and turbinate reduction can be combined with septorhinoplasty, if indicated to improve breathing.

Turbinate reduction surgery is not related to any nose cartilage removal or manipulation, so it will not affect a future rhinoplasty. It can also be done simultaneously to your rhinoplasty.
