Help! I'm reasearching all over the place. I'm finding great dr.'s in NYC but they're really expensive (over $10K!)
Is there ANYONE out there in New York City or Long Island who is a great dr. and reasonably affordable??

Answer: Rhinoplasty pricing... There are rhinoplasty surgeons out there who charge less than $10000 - you just have to keep looking. In fact, we are usually less than that as we have offices in NJ as well as NY. More important than price is the fact that you are seeing a rhinoplasty specialist that has a lot of experience that you can see in photos.

Rhinoplasty is an elective cosmetic procedure and therefore prices will vary based upon a number of factors such as geographic location, experience/expertise of the surgeon, complexity of the surgery, etc. In general, price shopping should be avoided when it comes to rhinoplasty surgery. "The bitterness of a poor result remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." If you have found someone you really like and connect with, it's best to save up a bit more until you can afford them. If it needs to be revised, it can be twice as expensive down the road. Answer: Affordability or Quality? In Rhinoplasty, affordability is a far distant consideration to quality. It is actually one procedure that is far better not to do than to have it done poorly. As far as quality, NYC has a great deal of excellent Rhinoplasty surgeons, including Dr. Pearlman who has already answered this question.

Answer: For qualified rhinoplasty surgeons Some of the best trained rhinoplasty surgeons are facial plastic surgeons. Most of us have at least 5 years training in Otolaryngology (Ear Nose and Throat), where we spend our entire training studying and treating the head and neck, nose and sinuses. In addition most take additional training in facial plastic surgery. So another source for doctors is the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
