Hi, The skin between my eyes and the eyebrow has always been an issue for me. I have a quite prominent & arched browbow, and quite some distance betwwen eyes and eyebrows. When I was younger this area used to be plump, which I really disliked because it made my eyes look heavy and there was a lot of skin area between brows and eyes. Im now 30+, and this area is deflated with quite some skin hanging (see photo). What procedure can I do to fix this appearance, and what is possible to be done?
Answer: Excess skin in the upper eyelid/brow Thank you for posting your question hereI completely understand your frustration as you seem to have struggled with the issue for a while. The first step is to figure out if the excess is coming from brow ptosis (the brow sagging) or from excess skin in the upper eyelid or a combination of both which would be much better assessed in person. Once that determination has been done and depending on your other medical conditions should you have any , your surgeon will either offer you a brow lift (different ways of doing the surgery) or a blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) or both. In any case I am sure that you will notice a dramatic improvement in your eye's appearance and potentially even your visual field ( depending on your exam).I hope this helps, and good luck!

Answer: Perhaps an upper blepharoplasty. Upper blepharoplasty surgery is utilized to remove excess upper eyelid skin. An examination would be necessary to determine your candidacy for this procedure. Thank you for your question! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Upper blepharoplasty and brow lift The skin under the eyebrows can be resected with an upper blepharoplasty. You may also benefit from a brow lift. This will pull the eyebrows up higher, will lower the hairline and decrease the vertical height of the forehead to make you look younger. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: A simple upper blepharoplasty would correct your concern. You have had volume loss around your eyes, like everyone as we age. You noticed the deflation in the area above your eyes, and this resulted in you appearing to have excess skin of your upper eyes. This is easily corrected, under local anesthesia with an upper blepharoplasty which removes only the lax skin. A single suture can close the incision and is removed in approximately five days. Discomfort is minimal and recovery is very fast. Have a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes.

Answer: Blepharoplasty and fat injection Dear Anon, you basically diagnosed her own problem and no the treatment. It appears from the pictures you have excess skin in your upper lids plus as we age we have deflation. the excess skin which is present could be treated with a upper lid blepharoplasty and the volume under the brows could be treated with a very fine fat injection such as nano fat which would add volume and return you to a more youthful look and removed the hollow appearance. So you know what you need now it is a matter of deciding whether not she wants to do it and finding a surgeon who you feel comfortable with. Good luck in your decision.
