At 2-3 weeks out, the buttocks will likely feel firm and swollen. It can take several months for them to feel soft.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the questions. The swollen goes down 6 months after surgery, but usually you can see the difference a couple of months later. It also depend on how much fat was transfer and your own healing process. There are patients that in one month everything looks and feels normal, but sometimes takes more time.I recommend you to get in touch with your plastic surgeon to talk about your concerns.Good luck :)
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. The buttock tissue will continue to soften with time, and will reach its maximal softness at 3-6 months postop. It may be soft enough to touch at 2 - 3 weeks, but you will likely be tender, and it will be much firmer than it will be at 3 months. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. Any treatment plan should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
