Can I start wearing my faja less?

Question

Okay so it's super hot now that it's summer and super uncomfortable. I wanna wear nice summer clothes and be able to move around withou this faja 24/7. I'm 9 weeks 3 days out I feel comfortable without it and swelling is minimum (still some but not much). What is the opinion on me wearing this faja less ?

Thanks so much for reaching out. I typically tell my patients to wear their garment for six weeks 24 hours a day the next six weeks I told him to wear it for half of the day either at night or during the daytime hours. In my opinion you can start wearing your garment less. However I would definitely doublecheck with your surgeon .I hope this  helps :-)

Some doctors do not even use garments,. Personally, I ask my patients to wear one for 3-6 weeks.  Best to review with your doc.
