Are you sure they just didn't want you to wear make up? While everyone gives their patients different recommendations, I agree with you that after microneedling is a great time to apply serum. We also offer patients PRP, which works great in conjunction with microneedling. I expect you to still see good results, you just may have gotten even better results with the application of a serum afterwards.
Vivace usually says that the first four hours post-procedure is an excellent time to get product into the skin. We have a special hyaluronic acid serum that we use post procedure as well as anti-oxidants and other specialty products. We also offer PRP post procedure and this is an excellent time to use platelet rich plasma. The optimal time to get product into the skin is four hours post micro-needling.
Hi and thank you for your question! We also choose to either apply PRP on the skin after the treatment or another option is Vivace actually has a post treatment serum they recommend, called Boost. We and our patients are loving this treatment! Best, Dr. Grant Stevens

Hello! This is most likely a normal post treatment response and is temporary. I have seen this effect last for up to two weeks. Most likely you will have an excellent result! Keep your skincare simple for now: no retinols, vitamin C, or exfoliants. If you have...
