Would Vivace/microneedling affect the longevity of Radiesse filler in my face?

Hi doctors !! M planing to hace Vivace /microneedling procedure to my face for more collagen and evenout my skin tone . 2 months ago I had radiesse filler in my high cheeks and Am so concerned that vivace / microneedling would affect or compromise the great result of the filler already have in my face .

Great question! We prefer patients wait 2 weeks following an injectable filler treatment before having Vivace performed.  Vivace address pigmented acne scarring, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the tone and texture of your already healthy skin.  The treatment is virtually pain-free, with immediate results and no downtime!

We will often do Vivace and bring the person back for filler in the next few weeks.  We do not recommend the filler first.  We recommend 2- 3 weeks between the treatments.

Hi and thank you for your question! To our knowledge, there is no interaction with these types of treatments and filler longevity, however we usually do recommend waiting a few weeks to a month, just to be extra cautious. Vivace is a fantastic treatment for collagen production, evening texture, fine lines, brightening and even some tightening with very little to no downtime! Hello and thank you for your question. Injectable treatments, such as Radiesse, and Vivace treatments are great complements to each other. I typically recommend waiting two weeks post-filler or Radiesse injections before receiving Vivace treatments, but you are well beyond that window at this point. Radiesse is injected into the deeper layers of skin and is excellent at restoring lost volume. The Vivace treatments are affecting the more superficial layers of the skin. However, both treatments stimulate the production of collagen in your skin. We have seen excellent results with the Vivace treatments in our practice and I would encourage you to check out some of our before and afters to get a sense of the type of results I have been seeing in my patients. Keep in mind that a series of Vivace treatments is recommended to see optimal results. I typically recommend a series of 3-4 treatments spaced one month apart. Hope this helps.
