Roughness, peeling, and whiteheads after laser and micro needling treatment. Is this normal healing process?

I had Agnes Laser, Vivace laser, laser skin toning, and micro needling for acne and acne scar 5 days ago. My left cheek starting to have whitehead breakout that's red around and still remains rough and peeling in some areas. Is this normal healing process?

I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care and skin care recommendations. PDT therapy can improve inflammation. We suggest all patients follow up with facials like Silk Peel Dermalinfusuion to hydrate, exfoliate and provide the skin with antioxidants. Sun protection is also essential. I always combine microneedling and lasers with prp to get the best outcomes. We do treatments every 3-6 weeks. Best, Dr. Emer

We are very careful about the products that are comedogenic that we use post procedure. I would make sure that your acne is controlled prior to micro-needling.  We provide laser facials to control acne as well, we have an aesthetician to improve skin texture and help with break outs. I would go back to your physician and see if they can help improve the condition and get the acne and inflammation controlled.
