Thank you for your question. I am very familiar with this technique as I actually did the development work and clinical testing of the Thermage eyelid treatment tip. When used properly it is extremely safe. It should not cause problems with fat in either the eyelid or the eyebrow. Please note that there is an error in one of the comments below in this chain. Plastic, not metal, eye shields must be use in conjunction with the Thermage eyelid treatment. Metal shields used with this treatment do increase the risk of ocular injury. Best of luck.
Plastic eye shields are used for Thermage, not metal which would become too hot. Multiple passes at low settings give the best result with no chance of melting fat.
Thermage around the eyes requires a metal eye shield to properly protect the eyes. There is no rush of melting the fat with Thermage. We often use Thermage on the forehead to give the eyes and upper eye "lift". Please consult an expert in Thermage for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol for getting Thermage while taking Accutane. Most Doctor's recommend waiting 6 months. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. Thermage should be safe to use in a patient who has a history of vitiligo. There are no reports of worsening of vitiligo following noninvasive skin tightening treatment using a radiofrequency device
Good afternoon,This is a difficult question to answer. I gather from the way you phrase it that you didn't have indentations or hyper pigmentation before and it all started after the treatment was administered (?)Typically neither of these complications result from Thermage (especially if th...
Yes! There is added benefit with repeat Thermage treatments. Most patients elect to undergo treatment once or twice a year in order to help maintain a healthy and youthful appearance. Those who pursue a series of treatments spaced a month or so apart tend to see significant ongoing improvement.
It's difficult to tell from your photos and requires an in-person evaluation, but you look like you would get better results with a tummy tuck, which can be combined with a high definition procedure at the same time. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction....
A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best...
