Hi, This is an excellent question, and the first question I asked when the company came to me to try the equipment. It cannot cause rhabdomyolisis. That being said, any provider who is doing this treatment should assess the patient and provide a protocol that works up to 100% strength slowly while monitoring the patients experience. We have done thousands of treatments with absolutely no problems during or after. However, we have had some clients who needed to be worked up slower than others just because they had weaker abdominal muscles. Most people can go full strength on legs, and more muscular people usually go slower on arms. I hope that helps, All the best, Dr. Jamé
