4.5 months post-op. Will taking Dapoxetine and Tadalafil obstruct hair growth?

Hello Dr ! Just wanted to ask you a quick personal question. I have been taking Finasteride and Biotin regularly since then, I just wanted to ask you I took a Sexual Performance enhancing pill I took just one pill (Dapoxetine+Tadalafil) a couple of days back. But I believe it's effect lasts for a long time in the blood isn't it ? But Taking one pill will it cause any obstacle in my Transplanted Hair growing ?

Hello, fantastic question!!! I’m sure you aren’t the only one with this question so I’m glad you weren’t too embarrassed to ask. You have nothing to worry about. You can take sexual performance medication and it won’t impact your transplanted hair at all.

There is not study on this so what we are telling you is theoretical but taking a Cialis should not affect hormones involved with hair transplant. On top of that, when hair is transplanted it is the hair form the back which is not affected by hormones (and that is the reason we transplant it) so another reason to not worry! Yes, you can now use sexual enhancing drugs as long as your primary doctor feels you are healthy enough to do so
