Any suggestions for seroma in the pubic area?

Hi, I had liposuction on my stomach and pubic area in my hometown 3 weeks ago. I'm a 22 year old male. My doctor detected a seroma in the pubic area and has been suctioning it out everyday for a week. It started with over 50ml and now I'm at 10ml each time. However now I'm heading back to the city I now live and its far away from my doctor. He says I shouldn't worry because the seroma will naturally absorb. Should I still look for a doctor to take a look? I'm worried it will grow back. Thanks

Liposuctioning in the areas of fibrous tissue such as previous surgeries or lipos does well but needs an experienced lipo doc and usually the PAL.

It looks as though you have some significant inflammation even in the dermis after liposuction. Was this assisted by a laser or ultrasound. The inflammation associated with the operation should be complete before inflicting any more punishment on the area treated.

In my experience the skin of the upper arm responds well to liposuction. Significant excess however may leave in unwanted redundancies. In your particular case a physical examination in person would be required for a specific appraisal.

CristianoPlastic surgeons usually differ somewhat about postop care, but 6 months sounds like a long time for the elastic vest. I usually ask my patients to wear it for 2-3 weeks after lipo for Gynecomastia, and then I recommend they wear a snug fitting elastic T shirt, which is more comfortable...
