Will Renuva or any other adipose allografts be available for larger volume fat deficiency anytime soon?

I'm just wondering if renuva or any other adipose allografts will be available for larger volume fat deficiency anytime soon. I know that renuva theoretically could be used for larger areas but that it would be prohibitively expensive. Does anyone know if they will start making it available in larger vials or if anything similar exists on the market for larger volume corrections?

I appreciate your concerns, however the jury is still out regarding Renuva’s effectiveness long term as there is little experience or research documenting effectiveness. Also any injectable or filler is best utilized in smaller areas like a face or hands. Larger areas of contour irregularities are better treated with fat transfer, also known as fat grafting. Consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in our area to explore the best options for you. Good luck.

You are absolutely right – for 99% of my patients, Renuva is cost-prohibitive for any large volume treatments, like a full breast augmentation or BBL.
 
 The makers of Renuva know that large volume Renuva treatments are in high demand and they are planning on an option for this need – but we don't know when it will be availabe and Renuva is so popular is only available right now in limited supply across the USA.

Hello, thank you for your question. Even if Renuva was available in larger volumes, this would not be the best option for large volume correction because there are no live cells in the product. Your best bet is to get an actual fat transfer with your own fat. This is not a very complicated procedure if the injector is experienced at harvesting and injecting fat. If your reason for not wanting to use your own fat is because you are very lean and you don't have any fat, Bellafill or Sculptra combined with PRP can give nice long term volumization that looks very natural because these products work by stimulating your own collagen.
