Can Refyne (Restylane) be used to add volume to the buccal areas and submalar triangle regions?

Thank you for your question. We have been using Refyne to treat the malar areas as well as nasolabial folds and are quite pleased with the results so far. There are a variety of other treatment options to address the cheeks including Voluma, Defyne, Restylane Lyft, and Radiesse, depending on the nature and area of volume loss. I recommend you seek an in-person consultation with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who can perform a thorough exam and discuss with you the best filler treatment options to meet your goals. 

Thank you for your question about injectable fillers.  As you have mentioned, there are many different products that are appropriate for different areas of the face.  Restylane Refyne and Juvederm Vollure are great products to use in the nasolabial folds, tear troughs (under the eyes) and around the mouth.  Juvederm Voluma and Restylane Lift are better used in the cheek area and jawline.  Finding the right injector is just as important as choosing the correct product.

To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.
