Refyne allows for natural facial motions and Other fillers like Voluma cant be used in those areas. I want chubby cheeks and more volume to the buccal area because I like how this area gives the chubby cheeks look. Also I need a lot more volume for the Submalar triangle region (anterior cheeks). Could refyne be used? and would it help in adding adequate volume to these areas or are other fillers needed?
Answer: Best fillers for adding volume Thank you for your question. I believe there are better filler choices for adding volume, although Refyne can be a good option for some patients. Defyne is more robust, as is Voluma or Lyft. I also use Sculptra or Radiesse for adding volume as these tend to produce some natural, long-lasting results. The key to a successful treatment is to select a very experienced, board-certified injector who has the expertise to choose the filler that will meet your needs and goals best. With a qualified provider, you should see a very good result, no matter which product is used.

Answer: Refyne in cheeks It certainly is not unreasonable to place Restylane Refyne in the cheek region, although for more volume, Juvederm Voluma, Restylane Lyft, or Sculptra would probably be better choices as they provide more volume. Lyft and Voluma have the advantage of immediate results and reversibility, while Sculptra will last the longest once a result is achieved. Best wishes.

Answer: Can Refyne be used to add volume to the buccal areas and submalar triangle regions? Thank you for sharing your question. The best filler for the submalar / cheek hollows is Sculptra as Refyne is better suited towards etching in any preexisting creases. I would be sure to see a derma filler specialist in consultation to discuss your goals, they can offer the best advice with an in-person examination.

Answer: Restylane: Cheeks Dear Iceoblue, Thank you for your question. We have been using Refyne to treat the malar areas as well as nasolabial folds and are quite pleased with the results so far. There are a variety of other treatment options to address the cheeks including Voluma, Defyne, Restylane Lyft, and Radiesse, depending on the nature and area of volume loss. I recommend you seek an in-person consultation with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who can perform a thorough exam and discuss with you the best filler treatment options to meet your goals.

Answer: Appropriote filler for cheeks and buccal area Thank you for your question about injectable fillers. As you have mentioned, there are many different products that are appropriate for different areas of the face. Restylane Refyne and Juvederm Vollure are great products to use in the nasolabial folds, tear troughs (under the eyes) and around the mouth. Juvederm Voluma and Restylane Lift are better used in the cheek area and jawline. Finding the right injector is just as important as choosing the correct product. To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
