Quadrostar Pro yellow 577nm or V Beam Perfecta 595nm for Post Inflammatory Erythema left from acne? (Photo)

Question

Hi all i need some help in what would be better for treating my post inflammatory erythema from acne. I have read that there are 2 options for this of either the pro yellow or the v beam. The pro yellow i am aware is newer but is it better for treating the pink/ redness than the v beam is this true?. I am a bit unsure on what to go for the v beam i have read is the gold standard but this newer pro yellow seems like it can treat my issue more quickly. Please advise on how you would treat me or other treatment required? Ty

Pulsed dye lasers remain the gold standard for treating PIE, but I love Pro Yellow and find it to be more effective in less treatments. However, a combination approach will give the most improvement. These marks can be improved with a combination of lasers (IPL, pulsed dye, Excel V, Pro Yellow), microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels and skin care. I have used both lasers and find that the VBeam is better for treatment of redness. The Pro Yellow is better for distinct thread veins as opposed to generalised redness.

Time will resolve a lot of this.  In addition, I still like the pulsed dye laser (V-Beam) for treating red scars.  Check out patient 24213 on the attached link.
