I am having liposuction on my calves in ten days. I am so scared of what the pain will be like once I stand up and try to walk. Can anyone give me an idea? I'm really nervous.
Answer: Pain after Liposuction Most patients describe pain after Liposuction of the calves as sore and uncomfortable, not excruciating. Elevation after surgery also helps. Good luck!

Answer: Pain after liposuction The average pain experienced after liposuction is usually described as muscle soreness. For most people that allows activities like walking and moving around although you'll feel some pain as if you worked those muscles hard. However, everyone is different. There are some patients that shrugs her shoulders and deal with it as if it was almost nothing, while others attributed as much more severe. Personally I advise you not to worry about it too much. If this is something that you really want to have done the soreness that you are expected to have will be minor compared to the awesome results we expect to have. Good Luck!

Answer: Calf Liposuction and Recovery Hello and thank you for your question. Since there is more dynamic action of the muscles of walking on calves than have been liposuctioned, just expect more soreness for a little while. It varies with each patient but rely on the care and support of your surgeon to get you through this excellent contouring concept. Calve and ankle liposuction should be offered in a number of cases where patient simply wish the hips and thighs be contoured. The second hour glass shape in the human body is the graceful curvature from the knees, calves, and down to the ankles. It is a good procedure in the right patient. Since your gastrocnemius muscles are pumping right along exactly at the surgery site, just plan for but not worry about, the soreness. Compression and walking and calf exercises will be under the management of your doctor. Best wishes.
