Minimizing the tip of an African American nose? (Photo)

Hi, I generally like the shape of my nose structure, but I would prefer the tip and nostrils to be smaller and narrower. Are there any noninvasive options available for this or is rhinoplasty the only viable option thanks

Thank  you for your question! It is not absolutely necessary to use rib cartilage (cadaveric or otherwise) for an African American rhinoplasty. It is, of course, an option. I certainly advise you to do your research and meet with a surgeon who has experience doing African American rhinoplasty. ...

The combination of alarplasty to narrow the nostrils, osteotomies to narrow upper half and tip plasty to lift up the tip will make the bridge look stronger and higher. There is no need for using ear cartilage. RegardsDr. J
