Will masseter Botox and chin filler help me get my desired look? (Photo)

Question

I’ve been really self conscious about my looks lately and been doing extensive research regarding some treatments. My first thought was to get chin lipo until I realized the lower third of my face is fairly short and squared off. Will relaxing my jaw muscle and extending my chin a little help? The second picture is what I would ideally want to achieve. Thank you for your feedback in advance :)

yes botox can help slim your face but you may get some sagging. make sure to use morpheus at the same time and every 2 months. start at home dermarolling for tightening and collagen production.

most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift.  an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done.

For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed.  Options include:
1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face
2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping.

Botox to reduce the masseter muscle will soften your squared jaw line. Chin filler would balance your lower 1/3 to the rest of your face.

From your photos it appears you would benefit from Botox to the masseter muscles to slim the jawline and filler to the chin area.  This should bring you closer to your "wish" photo.  Be sure to visit an experienced injector for your treatment.

Botox and similar products are a great tool in the hands of a plastic surgeon when it comes to facial slimming. However, you need to be evaluated in person in order to determine if the width of your face is actually related to your masseter muscle size. If your masseter is indeed enlarged or is the contributing factor to the width of your face, then Botox will definitely be of help and create the look you desire.
