I’m 36, and had Botox last year. I didn’t really have any lines. I received Botox to my forehead and frown lines and ended up entirely paralysed, which was a horrible experience. I got some movement back by having Botox placed under the brow, but the injector said I have weak forehead muscles which lead to the paralysis. The Botox has now worn off. Is it Possible to receive Botox to frown lines while not affecting the rest of the forehead? How can I avoid being frozen?

Answer: Botox Yes, Botox can be injected to treat your glabella without affecting your forehead. Make sure that you see an expert injector for treatment. Your injector will take specific notes during treatment as to where and how many units were injected into a given site. This helps to duplicate the look in a future treatment, or if necessary to tweak it.

Answer: Botox on frown lines Botox on the frown lines or "11" lines between the eye brows alone should not paralyze the rest of the forehead. The forehead botox is weakening the action of the frontalis muscle which reduces the horizontal lines of the forehead, while the "11" lines are weakened with botox in the corrugated muscles. Botox in those frown lines tend to raise the inner brow. If you isolate your treatment to the "11" lines, the forehead shouldn't be significantly affected. You can also do less botox in those "11" lines to maintain still some movement without feeling fully "paralyzed"
