How long after Juvederm lip injections is it safe to have oral sex?

The barriers of the skin and mucosa (if lips were injected) are compromised due to the injection needles and can allow transmission of communicable diseases or STDs as they are surgical wounds (minuscule but they are still wounds). The swelling can cause additional discomfort. Waiting few days is advisable until injection sites have healed. Safe sexual practices are also advisable to all sexually active individuals. 

Thank you for your question. I recommend avoiding this for 1-2 days after your treatment or until all swelling has resolved which can take up to 2 weeks.It is unlikely oral sex has caused displacement of your filler.  I recommend addressing your concerns with your injector. Best of Luck!

Thanks for your question.  This is one that doesn't get asked very often but I'm sure many people have wondered this.  With any procedure, waiting until the injections sites are closed over would be the safest approach.  Also, if it the lips are swollen or bruised, it may be uncomfortable but shouldn't pose any risk to the product.  As with any procedure, if in doubt, wait until you are comfortable.  

With regards to filler being moved around I don't feel there is any limitation with regards to using the area even immediately afterwards.  To be overly cautious I would wait 24 hrs after to make sure all the puncture sites are closed off between the filler and the outside world to minimize infection risk.
