Laser Genesis vs. IPL vs. Clear + Brilliant?

Question

I am looking for a laser to treat enlarged pores, dull uneven skin texture/tone. I was interested in IPL for sun spots, but told that lasergenesis will also help with collagen production and pore tightening. Then I was told Clear+Brilliant is better for pore tightening! Can I combine the treatments? I would like to avoid any treatments (like ulttherapy) that go deep enough to cause subq fat loss Any suggestions as to what can/can't be done together? Or if one is the best bet?

I believe of the 3 the genesis will give you more of the results that you desire. Pore reduction is difficult, its not that your pores are larger than anyone else's it that if that visible they are clogged with cellular debris and then like a funnel filled. Start with good skin care , exfoliation as well to help remove the debris from the pores. The Genesis will require about 5 sessions but will help even out skin tone, give a better texture and reduce pores. Remember they are difficult even with semi ablative treatments so they will not disappear. THe IPL will only help reduce pigments. The clear and brilliant I have no experience with but likely have a similar result as the genesis. I don't think there would be any increase in tightening with the clear and brilliant.

Thank you for your question.  We use the IPL and Laser Genesis in our center.  They both can be used as a combination to address brown spots and uneven skin tones.  Laser Genesis addresses the overall tone, texture and even tightens the skin to some degree as a result of collagen reformulation.  Laser Genesis can be used on all skin types.  Best

I often perform laser genesis for patients who want to have smoother, more glowing skin with a reduction of pore size and red spots.  After laser genesis, limelight ( cutera's IPL laser) can be performed on the same day. It helps eliminate brown spots and stimulates collagen.
