In my practice we look to the Laser Genesis to address those concerns. We have had success after 4 - 6 consistent treatments at least a month apart.
Hi there, thank you for your question! Different laser treatments can achieve different results, it all depends on your desired results and your skin type. In my practice, we offer Laser Genesis that works great for reducing pore size and evening skin tone. Fraxel is also a great treatment to treat wrinkles, sun damage, and scarring. Of course, it is always best to visit your doctor for a consultation.Best wishes,Barbara L. Persons, MD, FACS
I would suggest a multi-pronged approach for your skin concerns. While partial to Laser Genesis for issues such as lines/wrinkles and large pores, adding in treatments such as microneedling with radio frequency or IPL will really help check off all of the different concerns you mention above. Remember, skincare is a marathon not a sprint!
Hello thank you for your question. To answer your question Halo would be a better treatment for large pores, sun damage and deep wrinkles. Laser Genesis is used to stimulate collagen and help achieve a more even tone complexion. A series of Genesis treatments can help with large pores and fine lines, but may only offer minimal improvement to sun damage. The great thing about Genesis treatments is that there is no downtime, where as Halo treatments can potentially have several days of downtime depending on the depth and coverage of treatment. Hope this helps, Dr. S.
Really depends on your aim and what you look like! If you have sun spots, pigmentation and sun damage- its a few sessions of Halo, or better still high density Fraxel, if you have mild redness, open pores, and very mild wrinkles, its a few sessions of laser genesis or even QSL. Do not limit yourself to one or two treatments. Treatments should always be bespoke- according to your skin type and downtime. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
Hi, and thanks for your question! Showering or exercising after any kind of laser treatment isn’t recommended because your skin will be very sensitive to heat and irritation. Laser Genesis, like other laser treatments, works by sending intense, rapid pulses of heat and light deep into your s...
Getting eyelid drooping is not as common as it used to be. Physicians have become much more precise as to where to inject each patient to prevent this (since all faces are unique as to structure, muscle action and muscle mass) - but it does still happens, even if rarely, and means the Botox...
We always go by before and afters, LG should be pleasant and well tolerated... I can not comment on the settings used as I did not perform the procedure. Laser genesis itself will not account for loss of tone, your specialist who performed the procedure should be able to do the comparison photos...
