Can I have inverted nipple surgery if I have had my nipples pierced?

Piercing your nipples should not interfere with correction of inverted nipples. In person evaluation would help to decide witch technique would suit you best. Good luck.

Thanks for the question.Yes you can have nipple inversion surgery. This wiuld be carried out as a local anaesthetic procedure and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to carry out.BW

Hi and thank you for the question. As long as the bar or other jewelry that was used is not too big then there should not have been much compromise to the blood flow of the nipples. So you will probably still be a candidate. My suggestion would be to go have 1-2 consults with board certified plastic surgeons in your area who have good reputations for breast surgery. Piercings does not generally affect inverted nipple surgery. It would be best to schedule an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options.

Now that you have removed the piercings, you could undergo surgery. Timing would depend upon whether the holes have closed entirely. See a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation.
