I have pretty deep lines on my upper cheeks, right under my tear trough area. What can I do to help erase these lines? Sculptra?

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give you advice without seeing a photo or examining you in person. However, Sculptra is not appropriate for the tear trough area. Good fillers to treat the hollowness of the tear trough area are hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator that’s appropriate for volume restoration, and cheek and chin augmentation. It’s the wrong filler for fine lines and lips. Instead, think about a combination of Restylane, Silk, Refyne, or Defyne. A board-certified dermatologist will choose the right fillers for you.

It hard to comment on your cases without seeing a photo or evaluating you in person. That being said, I find combination treatments work best when improving the eyes. That includes Botox/Dysport to treated dynamic lines (i.e. crow's feet), fillers such as Restylane to treat volume loss and dark circles, gentle lasers to improve skin quality (Clear + Brilliant), and Thermage to tighten eyelid skin. Sculptra is a biostimulatory filler that works but increasing collagen production. Its great for addressing age related facial volume loss  however it is not a filler that should be used under the eyes. Hyaluronic acid based fillers are recommended for undereye treatments. 

Hi, It sounds like you have tear troughs. However it all depends where they are and what they look like. Fillers maybe an option, but you would have to be examined in person.Best,Dr.S.
