I am in my late 20s and I am interested in Sculpta. Does it treat nasolabial folds? Does the treatment hurt? Do I get a local anesthetic? Does sculpta come with lodocaine?

Answer: Improving Nasolabial Folds- Lasers. Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, RF like VIVA, Peels, Fillers, Skin Care, Face Lift, Fat Yes, Sculptra can be used to improve this, but a combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Sculptra for Nasolabial Folds Thank you for your question. Yes, Sculptra can treat the nasolabial lines (smiles lines). However, as you are young I would advise treating this area with hyaluronic acid fillers. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm are injected into the dermis and attract water creating volume. As HA fillers are not permanent you can have them dissolved with hyaluronidase if unhappy with the results. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector to determine the best treatment plan for you. Best of Luck!
