I think the average patient takes about 4 weeks to make a full recovery from a tummy tuck, give or take a few weeks in either direction. As long as there's no issues after the surgery, it looks like you will just make it. However, You will still be swollen at weeks and might not be able to fully enjoy your vacation. I suggest you ask your plastic surgeon.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
Thanks for the question. Generally, most patients can fly within 2 to 4 weeks after Tummy Tuck, Breast Augmentation surgery. However, car or airplane travel should be avoided to prevent the risk of blood clots in the legs. I wish you all the best.
Flowerbomb39. As long as there are no significant postoperative complications, four weeks recovery should be enough time for you to enjoy your vacation in Jamaica. There will be some normal residual swelling, especially of your abdominal region, but that should not affect your trip. Best of luck.
You will likely be able to go on your vacation as long as you don't have any significant complication which are rare with those procedures. However you will likely still be a little sore and may not be able to enjoy your vacation as much as you would with more recovery time.
I think that by 4 weeks for most patients, they can go on vacation but I would caution them to not exert themselves too much. Best to review with your surgeon.
There are no guarantees. Ideally, I would recommend that you travel 6-8 weeks later. Purchase trip cancellation insurance just in case. Good luck!

As long as you don't have any complications with healing or infection, you should be fine to go. However, likely you will still be quite swollen and may be more uncomfortable than you would like to be going on vacation. Good Luck!

Thanks for your question. You don't appear to have redness of the skin spreading around the wounds which would indicate cellulitis (spreading infection of this skin). However if this happened you would need to go onto antibiotics if you are not already on them. The base of the wounds appear...
