I'm 62 with fat around the knees and lots of sun damage and before I spend $2000 - $3000 on the procedure I'd like to educate myself so that I have a realistic idea of what to expect.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Ultherapy for the Knees You are correct that Ultherapy use on the knees is an "off-label" treatment. However, there is nothing wrong with showing before and after pictures of off-label treatments. Ultherapy treatment for the knees can be effective for individuals who have mild to moderate loose skin above their knees. If your main concern is fat around the knees then Ultherapy is not the treatment for you. You will likely need liposuction, smart lipo, etc. Hope this helps.

Answer: Fat and sun damage around the knees – Ultherapy? Although Ultherapy is not FDA-approved for treatments on the knees, it can be effective for tightening the skin in the area. To address the sun damage, a laser treatment can be done in conjunction with Ultherapy. Without seeing photos, it is difficult to say if Ultherapy would be the ideal treatment for you. Dr. Levine’s patients have been very pleased with their results from Ultherapy

Answer: Ultherapy for the knees - not recommended If you had posted pictures of the area you want treated, it would have helped with guidance ....Physicians can post pictures of procedures even if it is 'off label' use. I don't think you will get benefit Ultherapy for the "knees". I can see it being done on the inner thigh to tighten the skin but not on the knee itself. You may want to see a plastic surgeon to get another perspective as to what needs to be done or what can be accomplished by surgical modalities versus skin tightening alone with Ultherapy. Ultherapy is not going to get rid of the fat in this area. Read my Ultherapy book provided on the link below.
