Question

Ive always wanted a lid cheek junction thats high and convex. I enjoy Selena Gomezs face, like most models, she has an up swept look, high cheek fullness all the way up to her temples. I'm 25, My sister who's younger got fillers to try and achieve this and is unhappy it didn’t give much change at all. Can a subperiosteal midface lift or a soof lift alone achieve this? Or is it better to have infraorbital rim augmentation? It is common to get multiple procedures at once to fix this? Thanks!

Facial sculpting and contouring of the face can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

You ideally need custom infraorbital-malar implants to which a cheek lift to it is also done. You have correctly alluded to the anatomical fact that weak infraorbital rim development does not usually occur isolation and its part of the overall infraorbital-zygomatic complex.

Filler or fat injection can be used to give you more  projection and improve cheek contour. I suggest you also consider implants which are a permanent solution for a young lady like yourself who would need multiple injections over a lifetime.
