What can I do for jowls at 27? (photos)

I do the best I can for my skin but now Im noticing sagging especially the right side which is asymetrical to the left. I lost 25 lb this year but it was very gradual. Would further weight loss remove the lump of sagging fat? I would like to make the right side of my jaw symmetrical with my left, would that help with jowls?

You may benefit from a buccal fat removal procedure, as it especially improves lower cheek chubbines, which you seem like you might have, instead of sagging or excess skin. The same fat removed from your cheeks can be used to correct the asymmetry that you mention, as fat injections to the needed areas. Also to improve skin tightness, fractional needle radiofrequency devices such as Scarlet S can help quite a bit. A physical examination would be needed to make a proper assessment.

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. This is a problem that we commonly see in our patients and one of the most popular solutions is performing a thread lift to help improve asymmetries and to "lift" the cheeks and mid face. This is something that can be performed in the office, under local, in 30-60 minutes. You're a pretty young woman but I can see what the issue. You absolutely do not need fat removal. Rather it's the support of your skin and fat from the underlying jaw that is weak. Faces and jaws are frequently asymmetrical which explains the extra sagging there. A chin implant would be a great solution. Alternatively you could get a "liquid chin implant" with expert injection of a long lasting filler such as Radiesse which is similar to bone in consistency. If you don't want to increase the size of your chin,  the best non surgical skin tightening machine is called Profound, which could be applied to the area to firm up and tighten the skin there.

There appears to be a pre-jowl sulcus based on the limited photographs, however a full set of  facial photographs especially from the side profile are required to make a determination about being a candidate for a chin implant procedure. Congratulationss for your weight loss. Although you did not provide a profile view it does appear that you have  slightly weak chin and a depression just in front of the jowls which could be improved with a chin/jowl implant. This is an inherited contour which has probably  been present since puberty but has become more obvious with your weight loss.
