Hello, could anyone please tell me which is better if I do not want a mid facelift but cheeks lifted: cheeklift from inside the mouth or under the eye? The reason for this question is because I already had a facelift 9 years ago and while it took care of my face from the immediate sides the center has somewhat dropped. Thank you in advance.

Answer: Thank you for your question. Unfortunately there are no pictures. An Endoscopic cheek lift, which I helped to pioneer, is a procedure where one lifts the cheeks through an incision located in the lower eyelid just below the lower eyelid lashline. The soft tissues of the cheek are elevated off the cheek bone and the cheeks are elevated. This helps to rejuvenate the cheek/mid face region. I hope you find this information useful. Please see the enclosed video.

Answer: Cheek lift If the area to be lifted is under the midpoint of the eye versus 'near the outside' edge of the eye (when a vertical line is drawn downwards); the under eye incision is correct approach. The only 'intraoral' approach combined with an incision in the temple hairline; is for building the cheeks 'more towards the cheek arch'. Talk to the surgeon about the options, since your present status is a key
