I had my breast reduction done about 2 years ago... I'm currently 20 years old and I don't know what to do. Is it possible to get another surgery so it can help my scars? My areola as well looks chewed up .. I don't know what to do. Please tell me this is possible to be fixed..
Answer: Breast Reduction & Scars | Two Years Thank you for your question.Yes, it is possible to get scar revisions 2 years after breast reduction. You may also need a series of steroid injections to keep the bad scars from returning. To be sure, see two or more experienced, board-certified Plastic Surgeons for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have surgery. I hope this helps.

Answer: Strongly recommended You have pseudoptosis (inferior luxation of breas mass without nipple ptosis) and the Wise pattern used with your first surgery was not a perfect fit, there the reason for all the problems.I recommend radical rebuild to avoid this problem recurs, with new skin pattern, making empty the central droopy part of the breast and replace the volume by a breast implant, and reduce areolas. WIth this the goal is having 70% of breast mass from the implants, preferably macrotextured or polyurethane coated to obtain maximum self attachment to ribcage, in order to prevent new ptosis.

Answer: A re-reduction You need a re-reduction that is based on how things were done previously so that you don't compromise the blood supply to your nipple and have problems. Therefore, if you go to a different plastic surgeon, please go to your previous one's office first and ask for a copy of your operative note. You will look a lot better with the revision.

Answer: Reduction scarring excesssive and if you are willing to further diminish your size (cosmetically), you can have a 're-do' but lesser amounts of tissue will be removed but your shape will be improve and the size of your areola reduced. Assuming you had a straightforward reduction, you level of scarring is off the chart and you should plan to employ some strategy to help ameliorate it following your next procedure. Discuss with your surgeon or others whom you have seen and find out what they can do for you. Ask about retained areola and know your surgeon's revision policy.

Answer: Breast Reduction Revision I would recommend a re-reduction which revises the scars as well as the shape. Postoperatively we spend a lot of time on scar treatment and use taping for 3 months on every breast case with paper tape and early laser treatment on almost reductions and lifts (facelifts and tummy tucks too)
