My PS did not say it was dying but has me using Silverdine twice a day. More of the scab has come off since this picture was taken 2 days ago and there is small bleeding after I gently wash the old cream off before new application. The spot appeared within a couple days of surgery. Should I be concerned about this spot? thanks

This is a trimely question since I recently did a breast reduction on a runner who decided to begin running about 3 weeks post op.She came in the next day with active bleeding and a hematoma or blood collection that required a return to the OR so now I say 4 weeks minimum.
Thank you for your question. It is ideal to have someone who can help you in the initial few days after surgery. I agree with the previously stated answer, that it is possible to hire a visiting nurse who can come to your home to check up on you. Good luck.
