Can I reduce my 32DD breasts to a B cup or smaller?

I'm 21, about 120 pounds and 5'7". I'm thin naturally and have suffered additional back issues caused by their size. They are also uneven and starting to pull at my skin.

board-certified Plastic Surgeons for a complete evaluation to make sure you are

Breast are not suitable to be sized by bra sizing, try to think in percentage of reduction. Normally your wish will be feasible, don't hesitat to talk openly with your surgeon, this is the best way to help him to achieve the best outcome from your case.

I would suggest that you communicate your goals clearly with your plastic surgeon and make sure that you have realistic expectations prior to proceeding with any type of surgery.  Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work so you feel comfortable that he/she can achieve the outcome you are looking for. In regards to breast size desired, also communicate carefully. In my practice the use of goal pictures are helpful in this regard; a discussion of cup size can be confusing and imprecise.  For example, “B cup” or “proportionate" may mean different things to different people,  and therefore may be a source of miscommunication.    In other words, I would not suggest that you communicate your goals and/or base your satisfaction with the outcome of surgery on achieving a specific cup size.  Also, keep in mind that removal of a certain amount of tissue does not necessarily correspond to the achievement of a specific cup size.

Thank you for your question.  As you know, cup size will depend on the manufacturer.  In my practice I do not discuss cup size.  Rather, I discuss with the patient that the goal is to reduce the size of the breast and still have the final breast size "fit" the body frame of the patient.  Since every person's body frame is different, a particular cup size on one person may not necessarily look the same on someone else.  A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon can help you to understand your options, and whether you would be an appropriate candidate for the procedure.  Good luck.
