Can a fat transfer fix laugh lines?

Yes, fat transfer can be used to improve laugh lines, but a combination approach would give the most improvement. I recommend fat or fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Fat transfer from the tummy or thighs to the face is an excellent option for people of all ages. Fat grafting to the face rejuvenates the face with biological filler, your own fat! I frequently use fat transfer to my facelift patients to enhance and prolong the result. It is an excellent option for the laugh lines or nasolabial folds. Depending on the individual, one treatment does the trick, but sometimes secondary touch ups are needed. best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  In some patients fat grafting or fillers may be used to address nasolabial folds.  Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who

Fat transfer typically does not work very well for laugh lines. However, in certain cases nano fat grafting can be utilized to improve this. Typically, Botox and the other botulinum toxins are utilized to reduce laugh lines.

Hello, thanks for your question. yes it can be done. Ask to your surgeon for more options and combinations that can also be done with the first procedure, to give you a better look and improvement. 

If you are referring to nasolabial folds, then fat grafting or HA fillers can soften them. Neither can completely eradicate them, nor would you want to.
