Minimize facial movement after fat transfer for how long?

I had fat transfer 3 weeks ago. After the procedure I been speaking like a ventriloquist as I heard it helps with fat take (my surgeon did not suggest me to do this it was my own idea) Can I finally relax now and talk normally and start smiling at people?

Dear CThor15,yes, it i true. Only around 60-70% of transferred fat will survive. Fat viability depends a lot of surgeon technique. The fat has to be placed back into the buttocks as soon as possible so that it has a greater chance of survival It has to be placed carefully so that not too much...

Yes, swelling is typical after fat transfer and can last 3-6 months. I recommend prp to help improve final results. Icing the area, predisone, ibuoprofen and venus legacy treatments can help reduce swelling. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Massage after fat transfer?

It would be fine to massage in the jowl area since you do not necessarily want more volume in this area.  By three weeks time you should be close to seeing the final results once swelling has dissipated.

You would do great with facial fillers, such as juverderm, voluma. That will give you immediate results that last up to a year
