Too early/young for Hair transplant? How many FUE transplants can I have one over time? (Photos)

Question

Hi there, 26, suffering from hair thinning an hair loss. Causing confidence issues and would like to have it resolved. Is it to early to get some FUE done? Thinking I will need for than one treatment over time, but a transplant in near future to at least restore some appearance would be great. How many treatments are possible ? Any other information would be great. Thank you !

Augmenting the frontal hairline and filling in the temples is one of the most common types of hair transplants.  I would recommend recommend 2,000 to 2,200 grafts to accomplish coverage of the areas indicated.  If you are looking to achieve the density in the imaged enhanced version a secondary session of 1,000 - 1,500 grafts may be required down the line.  Twenty-six is not too young to consider hair transplant surgery.

Hairloss is usually a relentless and progressive process. You will most likely continue to loose hair until you're 60 years old and beyond. Therefore, expecting a transplant at age 26 to transform you for the rest of your life is not realistic. An FUE procedure can usually only be repeated twice before the existing donor hair starts to look patchy. An FUT procedure can usually be repeated more times but all of this depends on your genetics: your existing hair and your prognosis for future loss. Most men your age are better suited for medical treatments like minoxidil or finasteride, which can be safe and effective. You should consider having a consultation with a reputable hair restoration physician to consider all options.

At age 26 a person can have a hair transplant, but they must be educated on the process and be sure to plan for the future.You must know that hair loss is indeed progressive and that starting a hair loss prevention regimen is critical.I'd recommend switching to organic products for your shampoo and conditioner, and to look in to preventative medications like Finasteride and Minoxidil which has been proven to halt and even reverse hair loss. Before starting any medications it is best to check with your physician.

No, it is not early to get some FUE work for you .Hair transplant can be an option for forehead reduction and correcting  asymmetry on your frontal hair line/forelock.I advice you have a FUE; you would get the desired hairline in just one sesssion of dense packing hair transplant.
During the placement of follicular units there will be a mixture of single, double and a few triple grafts, which help to create the soft look of a natural hairline. For the first few lines always go for single grafts, later doubles Triples and others.So that a smooth transition will be there giving undetectable hair transplants.

The average Caucasian has about 7000 grafts could be more or less. The FUE capacity will be significantly less. To estimate what number of grafts you would nee, I need a frontal picture with your hair pulled back and your eyebrows lifted high so that your forehead creases. That tells me what are the anatomic point that allows me to determine the proper place of the hair line
