4.5 months post FUE transplant. Have I lost a graft after it got infected? Worried (Photo)

We tell patients that it is unlikely that they have lost a graft unless there was bleeding.  The photo looks like an ingrown hair, which generally requires no treatment, as it should pop and drain on its own.

Losing one or two grafts after a 2000 graft surgery is reasonable statistically.  If you are still concerned it is best to contact your doctor.Raw honey is not a normal treatment after a hair transplant.

What you're describing and the picture is consistent with an ingrown hair. It's possible it may have been there since your surgery. When you pulled it out it's possible that you may have lost that graft. But don't worry because one graft in relation to all the other grafts won't make a visual difference. If you had a situation where something brushed up against a grafted area and many grafts in the same area came out, then you may need a touchup in that area. But for one graft, you shouldn't even notice once the hairs all grow in.

ıf we look carefull tothe picture of graft , we can see that that is not ingrowing grfat but an untaken (death) grafts .İt means graft did not survive in first 2 weeks of op   and you just clean or take out it from the hole that it put.

When you have a chronically infected graft you should go back and see your doctor who will most likely drain the graft area
