In some cases some men and women may see scarring or unnatural bumps on the scalp.  This may be a technical issue or a patient issue.  There isn't much you can do with make it go away completely.  In some cased you may have to add more hairs to cover the scars.

Sometimes bumps along the recipient area reflect how the grafts were placed.  Grafts placed too high and not flush with the skin can cause bumps. You will know if this happened as it would have been evident at the time of the initial surgery

With appropriate graft placement the area will not look bumpy or pitted. Secondly, FUE for curly African hair, the follicle transection rate is too great, which affects graft survival and results in lower density results. That being said the area can be camouflaged and improved with greater density if performed correctly.
