How soon after a BBL should a deep tissue massage be done? Are there any restrictions?

Would massaging my liposuctioned areas provide better results to avoid uneven or lumpy skin immediately following the procedure? I would avoid massages on the butt if advised too but my care taker is also a massage therapist and was wondering how I can take advantage of her during the 2 weeks she'll be with me. Please indicate if the massages should be in a circular motions or in 1 specific direction for better results?

every surgeon has his own postoperative protocol. I wouldn't recommend you to massage your buttock. It is the best that you consult with your plastic surgeon regarding massages.

I recommend patients to start massaging the liposuction areas two weeks after surgery everyday. Consult your surgeon since each surgeon has a slightly different protocol.

Greetings.  Massage therapy after a BBL procedure can be helpful.  Every surgeon will have a different protocol on when to start massage therapy if they recommend it. You should ask your surgeon about the best time to start massage therapy in the postop period. Good luck!
