Hello, I had my second co2 laser procedure two weeks ago, it was done on my acne scars near chin area. The healing after first treatment was very good, after one week my skin looked normal. During the secend treatment doctor has changed one parameter of the laser (?density of lattice to 0,4 mm?). Right now my skin has dark red color (two weeks past), and it doesnt look to fade away (it looks the same on the other side of my face).

Commonly, the re-appearance could be from the resolution of swelling (edema). However, with a good CO2 laser treatment you will continue to "build collagen" beyond this time point and may see more improvement in the wrinkle. The attached link provides more information.I hope this helps.
