It’s over muscle & I’m pretty thin. 1 - How can I reduce the visibility of rippling w OUT going under knife & getting new implants? 2 - What is BALLPARK cost for fat transfer to this area? 3 - Do I need to be certain body fat % to get fat transfer? Note: please don’t say “why don’t you consult your doctor” or “consider gaining weight” or “understand implants aren't perfect!” Lol Tysm!

Answer: Subglandular Implants Hello,It appears as though your implants are over the muscle, giving you this intense rippling. Further, there is precious little space between your implant and your skin, limiting the amount of fat that can be grafted. The likelihood for secondary grafting is high. Switching your implants into a subglandular position and choosing a highly cohesive silicone gel implant will do much more for you. Keep in mind that fat grafting is 90% liposuction, and so it is very much 'going under the knife' as any breast surgery, with more postoperative pain.

Answer: Breast Implant Rippling Correction Anna I understand your frustration and choices for correction in your particular case depends on several factors. Firstly, it appears from your photographs that you have little body fat which is already contributing to your issues. You may not have enough fat in other areas to harvest and use to camouflage the rippling. I never recommend weight gain for this purpose, but if adequate fat is available, this could be a reasonable option for you. I know that you do not wish further immediate surgery, but your best option may be placement of your implants under the muscle, and switching to silicone if you already have saline implants. The latest generation silicone implants demonstrate rippling far less than saline implants. Sometimes the more invasive option is the best option, long term.Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in our area for a full evaluation and exploration into the best solution for your particular problem. Good luck.
