Hello, I am interested in having my tiny scar on the bridge of my nose removed, as it is slightly dented. The scar was caused by a dermatologist, as she applied liquid nitrogen on an infection in that spot. Could you please advise what type of laser is suitable for not very dented scars? Tightening of the face would be a huge benefit, too, as, unfortunately, I look older, as it is in the area where wrinkles tend to be formed. Would you recommend a CO2 laser? Thank you, Jane

Every surgeon has their own technique- for mild rhinophyma I use laser- namely CO2. For moderate to severe rhinophyma I prefer surgery first to debulk tissue, then sculpt with a CO2 laser. Be guided by your dermatologist or plastics. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
Co2 and Fraxel are best for laser resurfacing, but a combination approach will give the most improvement.
