Micro needling? Chemical peel? CO2 laser? Elos RF? Filler? I am 40 and my skin looks pretty young other than under my eyes where the skin is crepey and wrinkly and thin. Thanks!
Answer: Improving Under Eye Laxity and Crepiness with Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: CO2 for fine lines and wrinkles under the eyes Fractional CO2 laser is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation in our center in Santa Monica. We use the fractional multi-depth ablative approach to help resurface the skin, recontour acne scars, improve incisional plastic surgery scars, and reduce surface irregularities from skin tone to dark pigmentation. Our approach utilizes a multi-depth approach that targets melanocytes in the epidermis and collagen fibroblasts in the dermis. This approach can be combined with a TCA Peel in a process known as a sapphire peel. Fractional laser is excellent for acne scars and contour scars in the skin. Patients are advised to undergo skin protocols with Melarase creams before and after treatment to help reduce pigmentation. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. After the laser, we expect redness for a few weeks as the skin improves. PRP and Hydrafacial enzyme facials can further improve skin quality after fractional co2. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Treatment to handle under eye laxity and wrinkles Hey there,If the under-eye skin is too lax and forms folds, then the best treatment would be a skin only blepharoplasty. If laxity is mild to moderate, then a wide range of radio frequency skin tightening options are available to choose from.Hope this helps.

Answer: Eye Area Wrinkles Thanks for you question and posting pictures. Based on your age, I would like to try something completely non-invasive first. The skin around and under the eye is very thin and we never suggest using a Retin A or Retinol in this area. We suggest a physician grade topical from PCA Skin called Ideal Complex Eye Cream or Gel (retail $87). It should be available at a physician's office in your area. You can use it on your eye lid down to the lash line and under the eye up to the lash line. You should see improvement within the week. If that doesn't work, Pelleve is a great non-invasive treatment that is safe around your eyes. Bulk RF heating causes some of the existing collagen to collapse, stimulating your body to generate new replacement collagen. This is not a laser so it is safe for all skin types and can be done safely year round. It feels like a warm rock massage. Collagen building takes 90 to 120 days to see the results, so be patient. We recommend 1 treatment per decade. In your 40's, we would suggest a series of 4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. You will continue to build collagen for up to 6 months after the last treatment. Best of luck.
