Should Clear + Brilliant be performed by a Doctor or is an LME ok?

Question

I wanted to know if it is safe to have an LME perform this procedure or if it is only recommended to have a Dermatologist do it? I've looked into a few reputable medical spas in NYC that all have their Licensed Medical Esthetician perform it—is that standard practice? Thank you

I perform all my Clear + Brilliant procedures.  The device is a laser and a board certified dermatologist should be using it.

C&B laser treatments can be performed by a  nurse or a licences laser technician. This laser is classified as a Class II laser and has many safety features.

I see many patients over the years who have been treated with lasers such as Fraxel and Clear + Brilliant and have consulted me for correction.  I would only consult a board certified dermatologist for laser treatment. In certain states such as New Jersey only an MD can perform these procedures.  Best, Dr. Green
