I want to get a chin implant before I get a rhinoplasty procedure. How much will it cost me? I know it's hard to tell by pictures but what kind of implant would I need? (I want it to look as feminine as possible) will it be put in through the skin or through the mouth? I've been researching chin implants but I can't find much on the internet.

Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. Overall implants are very affordable. They often run $3-5000 depending on anesthesia use and implant type. You would likely need a central only implant, which can be placed through an intraoral incision and can be done in the office under local anesthesia.

The best thing to do is to consult with a plastic surgeon in person.  Also, it is common practice to do a chin implant at the same time as a rhinoplasty as they both complement each other. Different surgeons have different techniques and preferences so best to find one that you like.

A chin implant procedure can be performed in combination with the rhinoplasty which allows one anesthesia and one recovery period. Performing a chin implant alone can be done under local anesthesia either before or after a rhinoplasty. Chin implants are manufactured in a large variety of sizes and shapes,which is best determined at the time of the examination and consultation. Most of the implants that we use in our practice are size small and medium. For over 25 years, we have used Implantech solid silicone chin implants with an excellent success rate. Hi, we perform and have performed many chin augmentations using chin implants for over 30 years.  The photos show a weak chin and you do appear to be a good candidate for chin implant surgery.  The costs will vary based on the use of a general anesthetic or local anesthesia.  We place chin implants using a local anesthetic in 30 minutes or less through a small, curved incision under the chin.  This would be a lower cost than having a general anesthetic everything else being equal.  You'll probably have to select a few experienced Chin Implant Surgeons to call, have in person or electronic consults (we off Skpe and telephone consults for international and out of town patients) after which fees for service would be discussed.
